Dream Symbols of the Month (February 2005)
Possible meanings depending on your own personal feelings of particular symbol. A good way to interpret a symbol is to repeat the symbol and ask yourself what that symbol means to you, such as the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of it.
Pregnancy- Sometimes means a new area of your potential or a new personality developing. It could also mean a new creative idea hatching. Other times in a woman's dream it may be a desire to have a child or fear of becoming pregnant.
Airplane- Quick or dramatic changes in your life. Taking a risk, anxiety and fear from vulnerable idea's, hopes and plans. It can be the power to change or influence others.
Car collision- Possible conflicts of opinion with another person or careless behavior leading to a problem in a relationship. Crashing your car can be self desired failure perhaps to avoid stress or responsibility.
Clothing- Can depict self respect and how we see ourselves in society. They can be self protection depending on the type of clothing, Armor is a good example. Dirty clothes are grubby feelings or difficult inner conditions often depicting low values. New clothes can mean a change in attitude. Inappropriate clothing can mean feelings of inadequacy or depressed feelings. Clothing in a dream varies depending on types and colors and are important indicators to how you are feeling about yourself.
Blood- One's energy and sense of existence. It is one's link to one's family such as feelings of connection or bonding or lack there of. It can be inherited tendencies of strengths and weaknesses of character. It can be pain, struggles or injury. Blood is the carrier of your spirit of life. Blood is noticed at times of great change.
Snakes- Blind impulsive urges such as our instinctive drives. The snake can represent many different things but usually it is the process of life. It is the flowing event of our life. A snake biting you are unconscious worries of your health or your emotions turning against you. Internalized aggression and negative self talk.
Tree- Depict the living structure of your inner self. The branches are you abilities and directions and many facets in life that you develop. They are also your family connections. They are varied yet all connected. The tree can also symbolize new growth and stages of life. The end of the branches are your aspirations . The tree at times may represent a place of refuge and security. The tree is our whole life.
Shopping- Desires , something we are looking for or want. It could be love, fame , sex or career.
Bicycle- Personal effort or motivation. It is reaching for a goal through physical work. It can also mean mental balance or youthful enthusiasm.
Monster- Internal emotions or drives that you are frightened of. It is your negative relationship with your life energy. Sometimes it is a monstrous deed done or living a lie.
