Dream Symbols offer some possible meanings, but not all for specific things that stand out significantly in your dream.
Elevator- Shifts in moods (up or down), shifts in thinking or a rise or drop in work situations. Emotional highs or lows. Being trapped in an elevator can mean frustration and anxiety, feelings of restriction in trying to make changes.
Hotel- Temporary way of life or attitudes. As short term situation. It could also mean relaxation or escape or separation from family.
Fire- Passion , anger, desire or burning feelings such as resentment and frustration. A desire to destroy. Your vital energy. A growth process or change that radically alters old dependencies. Depending on the dream feeling state , it can be a positive meaning of passion and desire or an unhealthy destructive energy in which you should take notice and tak e action to extinguish.
Choke- Conflict , indecision as when we choke on words. It is a repression of emotion or an emerging emotion or memory.
Arrested- Suggests a restraint of self-expression by moral judgments or questions of right or wrong. It can be unlawful feelings or circumstance holding one back.
Rain- Depending on the dream setting it can be depressed feelings or difficulties. Emotions that take away enthusiasm and act as a barrier to action. It can be an outpouring of other people's emotions or an emotional release. Sometimes it can be a return of feelings after a dry spell. It can be something that heals and gives life.
Sting- Being hurt by what has been said or done by someone.
Vomit- The discharge of one's feelings or idea's that one finds irritating or poisonous to one's well being.
Flood- Can be seen as being overwhelmed by negative emotion. (Depression)It may also be an overflow of positive emotions such as a new love. It depends really on the feeling state of the dream. In some odd cases it can be seen as a fear of flooding.
Empty- Lack of pleasure , enthusiasm or good feelings. It is loneliness or lack ofrelationship. Sense of isolation. It may also represent one's potential or space to be one's self.
