Dream Symbols of the Month (April 2005)
Dream Symbols offer some possible meanings, but not all for specific things that stand out significantly in your dream.
Fork- A fork refers to maybe something you are probing into. It could mean you are trying to get to the bottom of a sticky situation. It can also refer to the masculine side of your psyche.
Washing oneself- Almost always relates to something worrying or troubling to us in our waking life. The harder we are scrubbing our self the more compelling the instinct. Standing under a shower or being emerged in bath water is an all embracing problem in your waking life.
Naked- Being naked in public in a dream may well mean you are feeling overexposed and that everybody seems to know your private business. It can also mean that you are feeling nervous about public speaking or appearing in a group.
Breathing- May signify the need for more space or you are feeling crowded. Or it could be difficulties with life in general.
Ancient- Something old or ancient is referring to the past. It can be tradition , wisdom or folklore . It may also refer to an outworn way of life. An old building is a past way of life.
Poverty- Are feelings of inadequacy , negative emotions depriving you of well being. It is a sense of deprivation. It may also being tight emotionally or sexually.
Ears- Subtle intuitions , rumors, information.
Chest- place we store emotions. Our sense of social conscience. Pride. Ina woman's dream it is her ability to give.
Crack- Usually a flaw in one's thinking. It may be a weakness in attitude or defenses we use in meeting life.
Birds- Imagination, intuition, freedom from restraints. It is longings to move beyond limitations. It can be expanded awareness or expanding a viewpoint. Birds attacking can be fear of ideas or opinions. A dead bird is feelings of defeat or loss of sense of beauty.
